clara and i were playing in her castle, when she looked at me very seriously and whispered, "there are monsters out there."
me: monsters?
clara: yeah
me: are they nice monsters or scary monsters?
clara: scary
me: i'll make them go away (exit castle, shoo monsters away, return to castle)
clara: (grinning) they are still there mom (duh)
me: what should we do?
clara: tickle them!!!!!
so i'm cracking up, because i did not see that coming... but after much tickling of the monsters, she pauses, and then says:
clara: some monsters are still there
me: what now?
clara: give them butterflies!!!
butterflies seemed to solve our monster problem. so what i learned is, to eliminate any monster problems, apparently tickling and butterflies are the solution! hahahhaaa i love how her little mind works!!! and how does she come up with this? she makes me laugh all the time :)
